Coventry Peace Awards are given to individuals or groups which have promoted peace and reconciliation.
This free scheme is managed by Coventry Lord Mayor’s Committee for Peace and Reconciliation.
The Award
Coventry Peace Award will consist of a Certificate and a Trophy. The Award is valid for a period of three years, after which you will need to submit evidence of your continued activity in promoting peace and reconciliation.
Steps to gain the award
If you are a teacher in a Coventry school that is interested in getting involved, we recommend you read the Award Process page which also lists the criteria for accreditation.
If you decide to go ahead you should Register your school to take part.
Once you have fulfilled the criteria you can Submit Evidence of what you have done.
The work of at least two terms should be evidenced. Evidence of activities undertaken during the current academic year is acceptable.
We recommend you submit your evidence early in June if you want to be sure of receiving the award in the award ceremony in July.
